Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses Local Directory Builder, including customers, their team members, and anyone who submits content to a directory website built on it.
1. Content you may not publish
- Fake, misleading or deceptive listings, reviews, ratings or claims, including reviews you wrote about your own or a competitor's business, or reviews you paid or incentivised without disclosure.
- Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights, including photos, reviews or listings copied from sources whose terms do not allow it.
- Content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, or that discriminates in housing, employment, credit or other areas where the law forbids it.
- Sexually explicit content, and any content that sexualises minors.
- Directories or pages made mainly to manipulate search engines, such as mass auto-generated pages with no real listings, doorway pages or hidden links.
- Impersonation of a person, business or organisation, or claiming a listing you are not authorised to manage.
2. Things you may not do
- Send spam or unsolicited messages through the Service, or use any form, sign-in link or notification to email people who did not ask for it.
- Collect sensitive information (such as health, financial account or government ID numbers) through directory forms.
- Use visitor information for any purpose other than the one it was submitted for, or sell it.
- Distribute malware, run phishing, or attempt to access other customers' accounts, data or directories.
- Probe, overload, or work around the Service's security, rate limits, sign-up approval, plan limits or other restrictions.
- Scrape or copy the Service or other customers' directories, or resell or share access to your account.
- Connect a domain you do not own or control.
3. Enforcement
We may remove content, unpublish a directory, disconnect a domain, or suspend or terminate an account that breaks this policy, with or without notice depending on the harm. Where it is safe and practical we will tell you what happened and give you a chance to fix it.
4. Reporting a problem
To report content or a directory that breaks this policy, or a listing that misuses your business or your name, email info@clientbuilder.pro with the page address and what is wrong.
